Expanded Training Programs: Messer Strengthens Its Position as a Healthcare Solutions Provider

Messer, the world’s largest privately held specialist for industrial, medical, electronic, and specialty gases, is expanding its healthcare portfolio and is now offering free training courses for physicians, certified by the relevant medical association. With this offering, Messer underscores its role as a reliable partner for medical professionals and as one of the leading providers of medical gases and comprehensive services.

Doctors in Germany are legally required to earn at least 250 recognized continuing education credits within a five-year period. To support them in this effort, Messer has developed free e-learning courses that provide practical knowledge and promote the safe handling of medical gases and gas-based therapeutic procedures.

Currently, three certified online training courses are available for healthcare professionals in the DACH region. The continuing education offerings cover a broad spectrum: In addition to the existing course on “Pain Management and Sedation in Pediatric Practice,” Messer has now released two additional e-learning courses — one on “Analgesia in Emergency Medicine,” which will be available through the end of 2026, and one on “Sedation in Pediatric Dentistry,” which will be available through early 2027. All training courses are offered exclusively in German. All courses are CME-certified and are conducted in collaboration with MedLearning AG.

Through the continuous expansion of its comprehensive portfolio of medical gases, supply systems, services, and continuing education programs, Messer underscores its commitment to being a trusted solutions provider in the healthcare sector.
