Messer only resumed selling its products in the German market at the beginning of May, since which time it has clinched more than 75 contracts for the supply of liquid gases such as oxygen, nitrogen, carbon dioxide and argon. To date, the young German Messer subsidiary has installed 25 gas storage facilities on customer sites; a further 25 will follow by the end of the year, with the same again in the first half of next year. Since May 2008, Messer has managed to sign contracts with more than 150 new customers in Germany for cylinder gases with a total annual value of around two million euros. A comprehensive network of 16 sales partners in the states of Hesse, Rhineland-Palatinate, Baden-Württemberg and North Rhine-Westphalia ensures reliability of supply to our customers.
