Once again this year: Christmas market in a historical setting

Family-owned company Messer will organise a Christmas market for the second time at Bad Soden’s historical railway station

This year the historical railway station and Messer-Platz will once again be the setting for a Christmas market which will take place on 23 and 24 November. On these two days, from 4 to 9 pm, visitors will be able to buy handicrafts, home accessories, toys and much more and enjoy various culinary specialities.

At the opening at 4 pm on Wednesday, 23 November 2016, children from the day-care centres Max Baginski, Sankt Katharina and Am Hübenbusch will decorate three Christmas trees with decorations they have made themselves. At 5.30 pm the TheoChor, the school choir of the Theodor-Heuss Junior School, will sing Christmas carols on Messer-Platz by the light of the Christmas trees.

The booths on Messer-Platz will feature Bücherstube Gaab, Café Merci, Genuss Kontor Bad Soden, Blooming Italy, Pelzmode Vermon, the town of Bad Soden and the Slovenian Cultural Association, among other contributors. Party Company Seidel will cater with fried sausages. In Bad Soden’s historical railway station, the Messer Group will sell spiced mulled wine, sparkling wine and cake for a good cause. The benefit will be donated to “Hilfe für krebskranke Kinder Frankfurt e.V.”, an organisation which helps children suffering from cancer.
