Messer makes staff aware of operational discipline in pandemic times

For a whole week, a worldwide safety week will be held at all locations of the industrial gases specialist Messer, during which employees will be sensitized to the topic of operational discipline in pandemic times. For Messer, this means for example the UV-C disinfection of gas cylinders that were previously used in hospital operations. In addition, further strict adherence to hygiene rules, in particular to maintain the filling of urgently needed medical gases in cylinders. Therefore, Messer practices contactless multi-shift operation in production facilities.

The safety and health of employees is an integral part of Messer's corporate values. Starting this year, the family-run company is strengthening its focus on health issues during an entire safety week. In addition, local campaigns will be held to appeal to the 11,000 employees to comply with the pandemic rules and act responsibly. In order to respect the distance and hygiene rules, the events will take place outdoors or as webinars.
