EuroBLECH 2016: Messer creates triple saver

Industrial gases specialist shows trade fair visitors savings potential for welding processes

“Cost optimisation begins with cost transparency. It is important to compare: but not of apples and oranges. The savings are what matters.” Messer will be focusing on this important topic at this year’s EuroBlech exhibition in Hanover. From 25 to 29 October, at Stand C98 in Hall 13, the largest privately managed industrial gases specialist will be presenting its ternary shielding gases for welding.

Selecting the right shielding gas for welding, the ideal flow rate and the optimal parameter combinations is key to minimising reworking, welding time and therefore costs. Overall production costs can be effectively reduced by selecting a gas and type of supply appropriate to requirements and by using an optimal shielding gas feed. With demonstrations by specialists, Messer will show the diverse applications of its products and provide information on the savings potential offered by the use of its ternary mixtures. The industrial gases specialist will also be offering visitors individual consultations at the exhibition stand.

In addition, Messer will be exhibiting the MegaPack C4 for the first time at this year’s EuroBLECH. This is a more compact versions of the MegaPack cylinder gas bundle launched by Messer in 2013. The cylinder gas bundle set new standards both in the areas of safety, efficiency, ergonomics and sustainability as well as in terms of design. The new model is significantly smaller than the original MegaPack while offering the same capacity. The C4 model is also available in the successful Duplex version, which facilitates gas withdrawal at a supply pressure of 200 as well as 300 bars without the need for cost-intensive retrofitting.

As in previous years, Messer will have a joint presence at EuroBLECH with Messer Cutting Systems as well as Jenoptik’s laser and laser systems divisions.
